Get there early on Wednesdays to participate in the bell ringing demonstration. Also, the Locks of Love are a sweet souvenir.

Love the tower and note that though they opened from 10am. But their last allowable is at15:45pm.

Check for performance times (noon on certain days). Performances are volunteer based, so keep that in mind. Have a sit outside and listen to the Swan Bells.

Nice lookout on a fine day. This is not a must see place, you may skip if you do not have enough time in Perth.

$12 entry to walk up some stairs is a bit ridiculous. As a local, I'd visit far more often if that barrier was brought down.
